We are currently seeking a qualified Client Solutions - Manager to join our clients Mining team, based out of Toronto, ON. The Manager - Client Solutions will be responsible for responsible for managing business development activities for their mining business for the Canadian market.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Strategy Framework process that includes market, client and competitor analysis across Canada.
• Continuously maintain major competitor, contractor, supplier, and industry association relationships, to gain insights into their relationships, marketing activity, customer focus, products and strategic initiatives and activities to develop regional and national competitor analyses and market trends.
• Represent and promote throughout the industry to build and sustain relationships and brand recognition.
• Working collaboratively with the Mining General Manager to develop and execute strategies/tactics for market development and penetration in support of their business plans.
• Oversee proposal development and the response process.
• Manage the pursuit risk process, including deep collaboration of with legal and project management in prime contract review.
• Participate in prime contract negotiation, and project handover to execution teams.
• Lead the commercial strategy for pursuits.
• Drive active regular cooperation and coordination with the Global Business Unit (GBU) in pursuit of our common markets to develop the most attractive offering to customers.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in Engineering or Construction. Engineering in an appropriate discipline/specialty is preferred;
• 8+ years of industry experience in a project execution and/or operations, business development roles within an EPC/EPCM organization. 
• Sound knowledge of commercial, economic and business issues relating to the respective industry in general and in local target markets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen and communicate with stakeholders at all levels including Clients, Senior Leaders, and frontline employees
