Recruitment Fraud Notice: June 6, 2023

Beware of fraudulent communications through various platforms requesting personal information. 

PLEASE BE ADVISED –O’Hara Search Group Inc. does not under any circumstances request money from a job applicant.  All official correspondence will only ever come directly from an email address that ends in oharasearchgroup.com.

We strongly advise refraining from sharing any confidential or sensitive information requested through any platform.  We take fraudulent activities very seriously and prioritize safety and privacy. If you have concerns, see suspicious communications that reference O’Hara Search Group Inc. have been victimized by recruitment fraud, please submit an inquiry through our contact us page.

POTENTIAL SIGNS OF RECRUITMENT FRAUD:

  • Genuine O’Hara Search Group Inc. emails end in “@oharasearchgroup.com” any emails using a different form are not authentic.
  • Communications have spelling and grammatical errors and may also be poorly formatted.
  • The email communication may be marketed “urgent”.
  • The perpetrator asks for money (e.g., for visa fees, taxes, training, safety equipment/HSSE, a percentage of travel expenses) and request personal information such as passport and bank account details.

While we sympathize with anyone who has been victimized by recruitment fraud, please note O’Hara Search Group Inc. is not responsible for the actions of these third parties.
